I'm glad Massimo pointed out the mirror effect. I naturally assumed the photo concerned a pair of identical twins studying a goldfish in the hand of the first twin, Minnie. I like the the sense of intense concentration, which adds to the suspense. Will this moment come to an end? Or will they stand frozen in time forever waiting for that poor goldfish to expire? Or perhaps I have assumed too much. Maybe they are just counting their change.
I was in Rosarito years ago. What these women are doing, is trying out nail polish. Thats what I used to get accepted by the teen girls on our Missions team and the local kids too. They didn't speak with me untill one morning at the breaky table, I whipped out my ultra shine purple polish with metalflake. I bought enough colors for everyone. By the end of the trip, all the girls AND boys wore nail polish.
I'm convinced Spoke is right about the nail polish. However, I have one more passing thought: Maybe Minnie and her twin sister Winnie just heard that through the study of palmistry they can decipher the DaVinci code. Winnie says: "Funny, I thought this line said I was going to be fabulously beautiful, marry a rich guy and live happily ever after." Minnie says, "No, that's what My hand says. Your hand says you're stupid!" And then in the next shot they have a big fight. Whaddaya think?

The mirror effect is quite nice. And even the lady in the ads top left slightly resembles the girls, completing the effect.
