Nice pan, man. Reminds of one of those wonderful dioramas they do at natural history museums with gazelles and zebras on the Serengetti Plain and the purple mountains far off on the horizon and a lion sneaking up. I like the new pic too - no longer a "shadowy figure".
This is about 40 miles southeast of Tucson, AZ. I live out here in this wilderness. The pronghorns were about 30 in number yesterday morning, crossing about 35 feet in front of my car. I pulled over and snapped these guys, the stragglers, from about 20 feet or so with my trusty Olympus digital with the lens set at about 30mm. At the school where I work, they come right up to the back fence on occasion. I wouldn't say they eat out of your hand but they will let you get pretty close. They're not as skiddish as the mule deer.

Everytime I drive to Tubac I run into these guys too... Very nice photo - I really like the rain clouds in the distance...

How far away were you? What gear did you use? I noticed only 1 creature saw you...where is this approx?
Questions questions...
