Here's what I love about your photos. I've been looking them over for the last half hour...it seems to me that you live in a rural type area similar to me. Mailboxes, prairie grass, blue sky, farmers and animals.....but you are not responding to your environment in the usual way. I'm having trouble describing what I mean. (Ach, words.) The sweet people that I live around would look at your photos and wonder what was wrong with you. They are very literal, don't like mystery or wonder, and prefer a straight-up interpretation of their surroundings. Yet you are managing to show that there is beauty and strangeness even in this environment. I wish you could travel up to this small town and photograph it...I would love to see what broke through your lens!

These mailboxes have attitude =) An excellent image...and great colors too!
Sooooo were these mailboxes actually twisted and bent like this, or is it an opitical illusion due to shadows and bent posts?

Thanks for all the comments and, papa herman, it was the photographer that was a bit twisted and bent.
